Yes, Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are comfortable! As long as you order the correct size , theres practically no break-in time with these sneakers. I wore them once or twice around the house, but overall, they were comfortable right out of the box. Ive never gotten a blister or sore spots with these shoes. The leather insole is higher than most sneakers, so they have some added cushion. Theyre wearable all day if youre commuting to an office, running errands, or working from a coffee shop, but I wouldnt walk in them consecutively for more than 2 or 3 hours.

How Do They Run
I am a size 7, and in the Slide High-Top Zip, I am a 37 and in the Superstars, I am a 38. I know most would say they run TTS, but I think whole sizing can be a little tricky. I dont find them to stretch a ton- especially if you get a kind with glitter on the toe or tongue. If you are in-between sizes, if you get the high tops go down a size, if you get the Superstars, Id say go up a size.

Happy Thursday! Alright, Ive been meaning to write this post since I first bought these Golden Goose deluxe brand sneakers a couple of months ago. First, lets get something out of the way: I bought them on sale. As much as I believe in investing in good quality shoes and handbags, I couldnt bring myself to spend $500 on a pair of sneakers.
So, I suppose Ive already answered a part of my question
But, lets get back to the basics. If youve never heard of Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Sneakers, theyre Italian sneakers that are pre-distressed. Much like distressed denim, the thinking is that itll take years and years to get that perfectly distressed sneaker, and by then theyll be worn out. So, theyve done the hard work for you.
When I first saw them, I wasnt a huge fan. I mean, theyre cute, but I didnt get the hype. Then, I kept seeing them over and over. And they started to grow on me. More than anything, I needed to get to the bottom of the whole Golden Goose sneakers craze.
When Barneys was having a huge sale, I took it as a sign and ordered the first pair that caught my eye. Of course, they were pink. My exact pair is sold out, but here is a very similar pair thats also on sale.

I know I dont have to preface this but it will be relative. Epidurals arent worth it to some women and to some they are the only way theyd give birth. If you usually budget around $100-$120 on a pair of stylish sneakers, and you wear sneakers at least 3 to 4 times a week, they are worth it in my opinion. Okay, big price jump, Katey. Hear me out. Its your cost per wear combined with longevity. If you are a work-from-home gal or a mom at home and you find yourself only slipping on sneakers and the occasional flat for being out and about, these will last you such a long time. Ive bought $120 sneakers here or there since then, but I find myself repeatedly slipping on my Golden Goose. I probably wear my GG 300 days a year, so instead of buying random $70 flats repeatedly, I wear these. In the past 3 years Ive bought less shoes total, than I normally would. So for me, a mama that lives in sneakers, these are completely worth it. Id rather wear a pricier sneaker 300 days a year, than a $60 flat that I wear 5 times a year. Plus, you can grab them on sale.

A Casual Way To Wear Golden Goose Sneakers
So many of you have been asking to see more casual outfits worn with Golden Goose Sneakers after I wrote this post. Honestly, I don’t think about them differently than I do my other shoes. Meaning I don’t plan my outfits around them. I think that’s what makes them look so effortlessly chic while wearing. Once I’m dressed, I just decide if I want to wear sandals, loafers, or sneakers. Most of the time, since I’m always looking for comfort, I’ll choose my GGDB also known as Golden Goose Sneakers. I’ve styled them with casual dresses, jeans & t-shirts, sweaters, athleisure outfits, you name it – they go with everything.
In case you aren’t super familiar with the brand, Golden Goose sneakers are on the pricier side. But they are totally worth it . For sizing reference I’m normally an 8.5 and wear a size 38. They fit perfectly. I have worn these sneakers all day and don’t have any issues with them being uncomfortable or giving me blisters. I prefer to wear them without socks, but this pair of no-show socks work well with most Golden Goose sneakers. I have found that SSENSE has the best selection as well as Farfetch and mytheresa.com. Other retailers I have found them at are Nordstrom, Shopbop, and Revolve, but they don’t stay in stock very long on those sites.
