How Do They Compare To Other Sneakers
I would say theyre definitely the nicest manufactured sneakers I own and the most comfortable! I am also a fan of my Tretons and Vejas, but definitely understand why GG sneakers are so expensive they stand above the rest! A key reason being that they have a feature that I havent found in any other sneaker a little bump right in the sole that gives you some arch support and also the visual illusion of making your legs look longer by adding a little over an inch of height! My 51 self is all about this, and is a major differentiation factor for them. Added height, thats also super comfortable, is a win/win in my book. Also, since theyre made in such small batches and handcrafted, no two are the same unlike other mass-produced sneaker styles. I have yet to see another sneaker that has such gorgeous glitter like mine do!

Yes! But I have a caveat to this I would try to find them on sale if you can. I think there are too many opportunities to get them on sale that its almost not worth it to buy them full price. Not to mention that theyre also just extravagantly expensive for a sneaker . I do think theyre worth a few hundred dollars though, because I dont see them going out of style anytime soon, as theyre made by a brand with a strong history and I honestly just keep seeing them more and more. Plus, theyre so darn comfortable and well made in Italy!
Overall, I would suggest finding a pair that speaks to your style and that you know youd get a lot of wear out of so that your price per wear is low and you know youll want to wear them for years. For me that involved a pair with pink and glitter , but even a more ~subtle~ or neutral option might be a good option too!

It probably sounds crazy to spend $400+ on a pair of sneakers, but Im all about cost per wear. That said, the Golden Goose Superstar sneakers are worth every penny in my opinion. Ive had mine for years and theyve all held up incredibly well even though Ive worn them a ton. If you foresee yourself wearing them a few times a week, theyre definitely worth buying. I think its also important to note that these sneakers are hand made with high-quality Italian leather, which also justifies the higher price point. With athleisure and comfort dressing being here to stay, you really cant go wrong with high-quality, designer sneakers that will elevate your look.

My Most Loved Sneakers
Veja V-10 Sneakers: I bought these Veja sneakers because I saw Meghan Markle wearing them and she looked so cute! I love that they are a little sportier than my other styles and all of the chic French girls are wearing them so there is that. Be warned, they do take some time to break in. The tongue is extremely stiff and I had to wear bandaids on my ankles for a few wears but eventually the tongue softens and naturally falls to the side a bit. They are super comfortable *now* and one of my favorites! I have this black style and they run true to size .
Isabel Marant Beth Sneakers: Funny enough these are maybe my most asked about sneakers! It seems that a lot of you are interested in this style but need to know more. Again, I would label these as fashionable/sporty. The velcro is really fun and I love that they make feminine outfits feel a little more laidback. If youre into designer items then I would say go for it! But if you are just generally looking for a good velcro sneaker, I think you could find something for less like these. The Beth sneakers do run small so I suggest going one size up!
