Nike Wildhorse 7for Men
- Protruding lug pattern gives excellent grip on unstable surfaces and designed to shed mud.
Nike walking shoes intended as trail runners are more robust and allow you to walk on more challenging trails with comfortable feet. The rock plate gives underfoot protection, protecting your underfoot from punctures found on mountain trails.
The deep lugs give you traction on an uphill or downhill trek and the multidirectional pattern allows them to shed mud and debris, thus keeping your feet light and retaining traction on slippery surfaces.
Replacing the Air Zoom units in the Nike Air Zoom Wildhorse 5 with React Foam in the Nike Wildhorse 7 shoes gives these walking shoes a bouncier and comfortable ride over all terrains. The improved breathable mesh upper keeps your feet cool, and the slick overlays provide strategic waterproofing. Both of these are the best Nike walking shoes if you intend to tackle some difficult walks.
Best Low Top Shoes: Nike Court Vision
The Nike Court Vision low top basketball shoe brings the classic 80s basketball aesthetic back to life. Its upper is constructed from a perforated leather that takes the shape of your foot while allowing heat to vent. The outsole is flat with deep and intricate traction, and the insoles are designed to give you a soft feel with each step. Based on online reviews, the Nike Court Vision toebox should give you plenty of wiggle room without too much give though customers note they can be a bit rigid with not much flexibility . So if you like fashionable throwback styles and not a too-snug feel around your toes, definitely look into the Nike Court Vision low top shoes.
Best For Speed Training: Air Zoom Tempo Next%
The Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% is the training counterpart to the Alphafly above. While the Tempo is plenty fast and utilizes some of the same tech found in the Alphafly, it has a bit more cushioning and support to keep your feet protected through a rigorous training routine. ZoomX foam and an Air Zoom unit in the sole combine to create a cushioned-yet-responsive ride, and a layer of Nike React foam adds durability for long-lasting shock absorption. A Flyknit upper creates targeted support and a snug fit at midfoot.

Nike Air Max : Bestselling Sneakers Of The Year
The Nike Air Max 95 is quite simply the most popular mens sneaker of 2021. This low-top pair comes in a range of colours, shown here in simple dark grey and white. This pair of sneakers take inspiration from the 90 classic track aesthetic. Nikes signature lightweight rubber sole makes it also one of the most comfortable sneakers to wear all day long.
No wonder the Nike Air Max 95 are the single best-rated sneakers online.
This alternative Nike Air Max 270 in all-white with a black logo is the most reviewed version on Amazon and can be snatched at a discount.
Nike Pegasus 38 & Flyease Version
Ive got to say that the comfort of the Pegasus 38 is out of this world. The Pegasus 38 is the latest in a long line of Nike Pegasus sneakers. The main reason I put the Pegasus 38 so high up on the list is because the midsole is incredibly comfortable for standing all day.
For the last couple of years, Nike has also been creating a pretty similar shoe called the Pegasus Turbo and the Turbo 2. While I feel the Turbo could be on this list, I feel like the Pegasus 38 is just the best of both worlds and its a better sneaker overall.
The Pegasus 38 features a lightweight textile mesh upper that feels great on foot and also contains you in the midfoot really nicely.
One of my favorite improvements on the Pegasus 38 over the Pegasus 37 is that theyve actually padded the tongue and added some more padding around the ankle to better hold you in place.
Nike decided to get rid of the old Cushlon foam that was in the Pegasus 36 and give the 37 and 38 a full-length React midsole.
React is one of Nikes softest foams. But what makes this midsole stand out is that in the forefoot of this shoe, youve actually got an encased Nike Air Zoom unit. So not only are you getting an incredibly soft foam underneath, but youre also getting an Air unit in the forefoot which helps propel you forward and gives you a little bit of extra bounce.
Again, the Pegasus is one of the best Nike shoes for walking and standing all day.
- Feels heavy.

Choosing the best Nike trainers is no easy feat. New pairs land on an almost daily basis. Still, its something that must be done if you want the right pair of shoes from the biggest sportswear heavyweight on the planet.
UPDATE: Nike has revealed its latest trainer is one of its most sustainable yet. The Nike ISPA is a trainer that has been made with no glue whatsoever. It’s the glue that makes it difficult to recycle trainers, so this new modular approach means that the trainers can be taken to a Nike Store and then recycled once they aren’t needed anymore. The Nike ISPA range will be out in June.
Over the past half a century, The Swooshs trainers have sprinted over Olympic finishing lines, squeaked across NBA courts and even peppered the Fashion Week front row. Its no wonder the whole world wants a slice of the action, but when it comes to picking a pair out, the options can be dizzying.

Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 38 For Men
- Enhanced breathability in the mesh upper.
- Nike React Foam for enhanced shock absorption and energy return.
- Added padding in the tongue.
- Mesh uppers with skin overlay for durability.
- Deep outsole lugs for multi-surface traction.
- Heel collar tapers away from your Achilles tendon, and the upper feels like it fits like a sock.
The combination of air pockets and React foam cushioning gives these Nike walking shoes a bouncy-walking-on-air feeling that reduces leg fatigue. The outsole lugs improve traction on wet and dry roads, but they dont have the mud-shedding capabilities of a more aggressive trail runner.
The mesh uppers allow airflow around your feet and the reinforcing overlays provide some water resistance in critical areas, so shallow puddles are not a deal-breaker. The upper drys out quickly, so a wet walk isnt that much of a problem. Ideally, these are the best Nike walking shoes for reasonable trails and exploring the urban cityscape.

Best Casual Shoes: Nike Huarache
Running errands around town is practically a sport onto itself, and the Nike Huarache casual shoes will have you looking fashionable while supporting every step. Its supportive structure and smooth stride come from the fact that the shoe was originally designed for runners but it steadily grew to be as recognized for its unique heel clip and dialed-down branding as much as its performance. Its upper blends soft leather with breathable fabric that work to conform to your foot while helping to prevent overheating. Inside, the cushioned sleeve stretches for a snug fit. The midsole is designed to add bounce, and its rubber sole provides traction.
Nike Air Force : Best Value Sneakers
On-trend with a retro yet timeless look and legitimate street credibility, the Nike Air Force 1 07 are the best value sneakers of 2021, selling for less than $100. We love this particular all-white iteration with durably stitched overlays, clean finishes and the perfect amount of flash to make you shine.
The Air Force 1 has defined shoe culture since the moment it stepped onto the court. And it continues to be a fashion staple thanks to clean lines, a strong midsole, and new and classic colourways in low, mid and high-top styles.
You can also fully customise your own Air Force 1 design with the Nike By You program. Create your own sneaker by selecting the colours and materials for every component of the shoe.
We also like these Cole Haan Grandpro Tennis Stitchlite sneakers that offer great value for the money. The shoes are available in a range of colours, but we particularly love this light blue tone for a fresh summery look.

An Overview Of Nike Running Shoe Sole And Cushioning Technologies
Midsoles of running shoes are made of foam. Each company has their own trademark foam mix that tries to achieve the following: be as lightweight as possible, be soft in order to absorb the impact with the ground, be elastic , be durable .
React is a styrene-based material which is a synthetic rubber. It is lightweight, durable and resistant to temperature changes. React doesnt have sink-in softness but has a dense, rubbery feel with a noticeable spring.
Nike ZoomX Foam
ZoomX delivers Nike Runnings greatest energy return. It is featherlight, cushioned, springy and great at preventing foot fatigue. ZoomX is quick to compress and snaps back instantly.
FlyPlate is a light carbon-fibre plate which delivers a snappy sensation with every stride. It provides a propulsive feeling to increase your pace.
Cushlon is a mix of Phylon and rubber additives that makes it lightweight and responsive.
Best Casual Kicks: Nike Air Force 1 Low Sneaker
The Nike Air Force 1 sneaker is one of the most famous basketball shoes ever. Even though it debuted in the early 80s, this shoe’s iconic looks have been customized by numerous artists, immortalized in songs by rappers like Nelly, and even worn by contemporary professional basketball players like Rasheed Wallace.
You can pick up a pair in just about any color or design you want, but I’m partial to that classic all-white look. These can still be worn for a game of pickup basketball, but look just as good paired with some comfy jeans. They’re the true fashion casual sneaker and can be dressed up or down, depending on the circumstance. Plus, you’ll look baller wearing them.

What Is Nike’s Fastest Running Shoe
Theoretically, the fastest Nike running shoes right now are the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% , the updated version of the Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT%. These shoes combine the responsive ZoomX foam with two Zoom Air units at the front. Eliud Kipchoge wore an Alphafly prototype when he broke the 2-hour marathon record in October 2019.
That said, I would argue that the Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT% is still the best choice for most runners who need fast Nike running shoes. The Vaporfly allows for more manoeuvrability than the Alphalfy thanks to the lack of Air Zoom units. However, these units do a great job in providing better energy returns which will pay off over long distances.
How To Choose The Best Nike Running Shoes For You
When it comes to choosing the best Nike running shoes, you’ll need to think about how you run, how far you’re going and the type of surface you prefer to do your miles on. There’s no one-size-fits-all with running shoes, but certain shoes will be better designed for the type of run you have in mind.
For example, if you’re looking to go fast on race day, you’ll probably want to look at Nike’s shoes with carbon fibre plates and ZoomX foam, designed to give you more efficient energy return as your foot hits the ground. If you’re into trail running, a road shoe isn’t likely to have enough grip, so you’ll want a running shoe with deep lugs to ensure you don’t slip as you clamber over rocky or muddy terrains.
Finally, getting the shoe that best suits your running gait is important. Nowadays, running brands are moving away from ‘neutral’ and ‘support’ shoes, but some shoes will offer more structure if you do overpronate when you run. The easiest way to test this is to head to a running shop and have your gait analyzed, but if that’s not an option perhaps get a friend to video you, or look at the tread of your old shoes to see which part has worn away fastest.

Best Outdoor Shoe: Nike Air Wildhorse 5
I love the great outdoors, and one of my favorite things to do is taking off in the woods behind my house for a trail run or heading out to the hill country for a day of hiking. Nike makes some of my favorite trail shoes, including the Nike Air Wildhorse 5. Part of Nike’s ACG or All Conditions Gear series, the Air Wildhorse 5 sits in a nice spot between a technical trekker and a flexible runner.
The shoe features multi-layer fabric for breathability but also has a rock plate in the midsole to shield your foot from hard and pointy things. It is cushioned with Nike’s Zoom Air technology, and it has a nice pattern of large lugs and sticky rubber to aid in gripping even the gnarliest of trails. These Wildhorses are sure to drag you away!
Nike Gts 16 Txt: Best Sneakers Under $100
On-trend with the retro look and dad sneakers inspiration, we love these simple yet stylish trainers. The Nike Killshot 2 have legitimate street credibility and cost less than $100. They are hard to get, however, and tend to sell out as quickly as theyre restocked. We love this particular iteration with midnight navy swooshes on white leather and light-grey suede trims. The abrasion-resistant gum rubber soles complete the look for a classic tennis sneaker.
Another great option under $100 are the timeless Adidas Originals Stan Smith sneakers. Theyve been around forever and will last you just as long.
